Kitchen Extension with Skylights

A full-width rear extension was constructed, substantially increasing the ground-floor living space. The project included new foundations and blockwork construction, structural steelwork (RSJs) to create an open-plan layout, full removal of the existing rear wall, new insulated flat roof with three large skylights, and full-width bi-fold doors opening onto the garden patio. Engineered oak herringbone flooring was installed throughout the new extension and into the adjoining hallway, creating a seamless flow between spaces. The flooring was laid over underfloor heating for year-round comfort. A fully bespoke kitchen was designed and fitted, featuring handleless units in a contemporary grey finish, a generous island unit with storage, seating, and pendant lighting, premium stone worktops, integrated appliances, under-cabinet LED lighting, and full plumbing and electrical connections.
