A free, public directory of UK construction companies.
The Planyard UK Construction Network is a directory of construction companies registered in the United Kingdom: main contractors, subcontractors, house builders, developers, suppliers and consultants. Every company has a page, whether or not anyone has ever claimed it, and every page is free to read with no account and no paywall.
Each profile is assembled from two public sources. The registry side comes from Companies House: registered name and number, incorporation date, status, registered office, SIC codes and the figures filed in the company's own annual accounts. The descriptive side comes from the company's own public website, where one could be found: what they do, the sectors they build in, the projects they show and the accreditations they display.
Nothing here is bought from a data broker, and nothing is taken from behind a login. Where a figure is an estimate rather than something a company filed or published, the page says so.
Companies House data is only as current as a company's last filing, and website content can be out of date the day it is read. Some companies share a website with the rest of their group, some have changed name, and some have no online presence at all. We would rather show you where a claim came from than pretend to a certainty we do not have, so every section on a profile is labelled with its source.
If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. There are two forms: one to claim a profile if the company is yours, and one to report incorrect information on any page. Both are linked from every company profile.
The network is published by Planyard, which makes construction budgeting and cost management software. Planyard was founded in 2017 and is used by main contractors, subcontractors, house builders and developers in the UK, Australia, the United States and beyond, to track project costs as work happens rather than weeks later in a spreadsheet.
