Solmaz Construction

Solmaz Limited was founded in London in 2003, operating as a contractor delivering residential construction, commercial fit-out, and bespoke joinery. With directors involved in every project from inception to completion, the company has over two decades of experience in building, restoring, and fitting out homes, restaurants, and commercial spaces across London. They focus on projects where quality of finish is paramount, working with developers, landlords, architects, and private clients.

The business operates with two integrated sides: a construction and development team handling projects from new-build homes and refurbishments to restaurants, showrooms, and offices, including work on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings. Complementing this is their joinery and carpentry team, which designs and manufactures bespoke pieces in their North London workshop for both their own projects and direct commissions. Much of their work is secured through architects and designers, with Solmaz adept at translating drawings into finished buildings or furniture.

Led by Semih Aslan (engineering background) for quality and programme oversight, and Faruk Tepeyurt (construction law experience) for commercial and compliance matters, Solmaz emphasizes a hands-on approach. They are recognised for their work with accolades such as a RIBA award and a Wood Award for joinery, and hold CHAS and Constructionline accreditations. They are also approved contractors at major venues like ExCeL London and Westfield White City, and have Network Rail approval for fit-out works within operational stations.
