Originally converted in the 90's, the barn is a wonderful oak timber framed building riddled with character…. huge old oak beams with historic woodworm scarring, quirky floor plan and a somewhat magical aura. The original conversion had been poorly executed so our client, the new owners, commissioned us to rework the entire property.

Built in the mid 1950's, this house had a rough life with many years of questionable alterations. Our mission was to try and save the house without knocking it down and starting again. The result feels like a modern interpretation of the original 50's house complete with bespoke Crittall windows, hand made clay tiles and reclaimed gym flooring.
