Reams Cottage

A challenging build that needed to marry up to the existing structure, requiring the removal of the end brick wall for it to be replaced by the oak frame.

Manor House

One of the most interesting and challenging design and builds ever undertaken with the frame on display both outside in. Starting with outline plans and working closely with the client.

The Old Kent Barn

A brand new tithe barn which was to become a wedding venue replacing the marquee used at the time. A spectacular project in many respects.

Fairlight House

The first full turn key build which came from a word of mouth recommendation. The initial design period ensured full benefit of all views of the property. The house was pre-assembled in the workshop.

Oak Crown Post

Frequently asked by clients to put something special into oak frames, something unique to them, whether it be a name or date carved over a door, or a specific design feature.

Winery and Cottages

The project comprised of two cottages and a large barn style building to be used as the winery. All to be constructed out of Oak.

House Extension

A challenging frame extension to a listed building that would sit snugly between one of the city's many streets and the river.

Kentish Aisle Barn

In May 2008 Norton Timber was given the opportunity to quote to build a brand new five bay Kent barn. After a visit by the client, where he was shown examples of previous work.

Offices

Designed by Norton Timber, this frame is aimed at the top end office market. The brief was for a frame constructed using only traditional methods and as many features as possible.

Barn Extension

Having been unable to find a carpenter with the capability to build the centre-piece of their dream home, the company was asked to increase its remit from timber only to design and build.

Reams Cottage

A challenging build that needed to marry up to the existing structure, requiring the removal of the end brick wall for it to be replaced by the oak frame whilst ensuring the existing structure was not compromised.

Manor House

One of the most interesting and challenging design and builds ever undertaken with the frame on display both outside in. Starting with outline plans and working closely with the client.
