Kiani Architects is a design-orientated practice, working predominantly in the commercial sector on a mix of new builds and extensive refurbishments based around London. We are a studio with close links to developers, trades and contractors, delivering expertly designed and hand-crafted buildings which reflect their unique context and ambition. Our work pays meticulous attention to the concept and details of every project, recursively refining design ideas to arrive at a solution that is architecturally, socially, and intellectually coherent.

Kiani Architects is fundamentally a studio that draws on individual intelligence and understanding to collectively achieve great architecture. Our team brings diverse knowledge and passion from the construction and creative industries in order to influence the design process. We recognise that designing significant new buildings and spaces comes with responsibilities to the people who own and use them, but importantly for the way those buildings use resources and how they impact the environment on local and global scales.

We want to ensure that responsibility is embedded in how we think and the buildings we make. We want to create buildings that tread lightly and trust that obsessively iterating and refining the design results in sustainable buildings. We are passionate about the use of beautiful, enduring materials and seek to ensure those materials are responsibly sourced, carefully used and designed to consider reuse.
