The development aims to create a unique identity rooted in its West Oxfordshire setting and local vernacular. The project will deliver significant community benefits, including affordable housing, veterans/alms houses, a new community hub with youth facilities, and financial contributions to Kilkenny Country Park's rejuvenation and accessibility.
Further contributions will support local sports, provide a new cemetery and woodland burial site, extend footpaths and trails, improve dog walking facilities, and fund public art and local school investments. Sustainability is a core principle, with proposals enhancing native biodiversity, providing energy-efficient homes, and creating a network of streets and paths prioritizing pedestrians and cyclists. The development will deliver new green spaces, including an extension of Kilkenny Country Park, new woodland, potential re-wilding areas, outdoor sports facilities, and a cemetery.
