Greencoat UK Wind

Greencoat UK Wind is the UK's leading listed renewable infrastructure fund, exclusively focused on wind generation assets in the UK. The Company's aim is to provide investors with an annual dividend that increases in line with CPI while preserving capital value on a real basis through the reinvestment of excess cashflow. We are the largest listed renewable infrastructure fund in the UK and operate a portfolio of 49 wind farms, one of the largest in the country.

By providing investors with the opportunity to participate directly in the ownership of UK wind farms, we increase the resources and capital dedicated to the country's renewable energy transition. Our management team has significant expertise in infrastructure financing, including investment in renewable energy infrastructure, and is led by Stephen Packwood and Matt Ridley, partners at renewable investment manager, Schroders Greencoat. The company has a strong Board of independent non-executive Directors from relevant complementary backgrounds, offering experience in the investment management of listed funds, as well as in the energy sector both from a public policy and a commercial perspective.

We pioneered the renewable investment trust sector as the first fund of its kind to list on the LSE main market, and the only fund in the sector to be domiciled in the UK. We have a proven operating track record, having increased our dividend for 12 consecutive years by at least RPI. 2bn of dividends, and re-invested £1bn of excess cashflow back into the company.

In January 2026, the Company updated its Investment Policy with respect to the annual dividend such that the aim is to increase the dividend in line with CPI.
