Cedarcare Ltd was established in 1985 and has built a professional reputation as a leading company in the remedial industry. As a family business, we have grown over 35+ years, specializing in chemical damp proof course installation, damp proof rendering, structural waterproofing, timber preservation, dry rot control, and condensation control. We are proud members of the Property Care Association (PCA), the British Structural Waterproofing Association (BSWA), and the British Wood Preserving and Damp Coursing Association (BWPDTA).

Our expertise covers a range of common property issues. Rising damp is identified by a damp line on walls, potentially damaging plaster and affecting timbers. Structural waterproofing protects below-ground structures from water ingress, with three types available: Type A, B, and C.

Timber treatments address wood-boring insects and rot, with specialized solutions for dry rot and wet rot, often guaranteed for 20 years. Condensation control tackles issues like mould growth and steaming windows, recommending treatments such as anti-mould solutions, passyfier vents, and thermal board insulation. We are committed to continuous staff training and regularly review our methods and materials.

All our surveys and remedial works are undertaken in accordance with BS 6576:2005 Code of practice for diagnosis of rising damp in walls of buildings and installation of chemical damp-proof courses.
