Wrps Group Ltd

WRPS Ltd. was founded in November 2007 by Barry & Diane Grime, starting from their home in Westhoughton. Initially, Barry undertook most of the work himself, travelling across Northern England.

The company expanded, leading to the rental of premises in Wigan in February 2010, where they began undertaking sub-contracting works, including various brickwork projects. Further expansion saw the introduction of roofing, PVC works, and a scaffolding service. To accommodate growth, larger premises were secured, including land at Horwich Loco Works for scaffolding equipment and offices at Rosebridge Court in Ince, Wigan.

In August 2017, the company consolidated its administrative and operational functions at Wingates Industrial Estate, Westhoughton. WRPS Ltd. has since secured and delivered several Principal Contracting Partnerships and Frameworks throughout the North West, achieving high client satisfaction.

This success has led to the employment of an in-house Operations Manager, Commercial Manager, Health and Safety Manager, Site Managers, and TLO, enabling them to deliver full project schemes in-house from start to finish. In 2016, Barry and Diane Grime stepped down from their original roles, with the day-to-day running now managed by the Board of Directors following internal promotions.
