Upgrade of Plumbing and Mechanical Services, including clinical wash basins, Doc M suites, shower facilities, new copper and drainage work, and a new air handling unit on the rooftop. The contract involved extending pipework from an existing plant room to feed the new AHU, using medium grade steel pipe with new valves, gauges, and a pump set. All pipework was pressure tested, insulated, commissioned, and chlorinated.
Upgrade of sanitaryware, involving staggered programmes of works to allow for M&E and builder's work. Pre-work water samples were taken and tested for Legionella, Pseudomonadota, and bacteria. Plumbing services were extended to accommodate the new layout, and all sanitaryware was Anti Ligature protected.
Installation of a stainless steel hand wash and back to wall toilet pans complete with a chrome flush plate. All surfaced mounted pipework was chrome plated. This was part of the factory toilet refurbishment.
Provided multiple new shower rooms with AKW trays and enclosures, Bristan TMV 3 approved bar mixer shower and riser kit. Installed Armitage Shanks Doc M pack toilets and Marwick 21 mixer taps, stainless steel wash troughs and contour 21 plus wash basins, some mounted on IPS panelling.
