About from company website

WCB Utilities began trading in 2005 with a single engineering team focused on Gas Replacement projects. Within a year, they partnered with Morrison Utility Services, expanding their workforce significantly. In 2013, WCB Utilities transitioned to working directly as a Principal Contractor for SGN (Southern Gas Network) in the South East and London areas, a move that led to them being awarded SGN Contractor of the Year in 2017.

This shift broadened their responsibilities to include full project planning with Highway Authorities, completion of all engineering works, and full reinstatement of surfaces, alongside managing health and safety requirements. The company has grown substantially over the years, relocating its depot multiple times to accommodate demand, from a small yard in Bredhurst in 2005 to their current, largest depot in Queenborough, Sheppey, since 2024.
