Charlotte Building, 17 Gresse Street, London
London
This decarbonisation project for Derwent London delivered a complete transformation of the building's heating, cooling, and control systems to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The existing chillers and gas-fired boilers were replaced with a combination of high-efficiency Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) and Water Source Heat Pumps (WSHPs), providing low-carbon space cooling and heating throughout the building. The works also included significant electrical infrastructure upgrades to support the new plant, alongside the installation of a fully integrated Building Management System (BMS), providing enhanced control, monitoring, and optimisation of the building's mechanical and electrical services.
