VIVO Defence Services is a 50:50 joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, established to deliver Facilities Management (FM) and Service Family Accommodation (SFA) Housing Maintenance for the Ministry of Defence's Defence Infrastructure Organisation. The company also manages Asset and Facilities Management services for the government's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) in their southwest region and oversees eight of the 13 UK regions of the Volunteer Estate, providing sites for military reservists and cadets. Additionally, VIVO provides Housing Maintenance and FM services for 11 United States Visiting Forces (USVF) sites across England.

This partnership brings a deep understanding of the military's ethos, culture, operational practices, and structures, enabling VIVO to work collaboratively with partners, customers, and service users to achieve their goals. EQUANS contributes significant experience in the design, financing, building, and operation of low-carbon energy-saving and generation schemes globally, supporting the MOD's Zero Carbon and Sustainability ambitions. Serco brings extensive UK and global expertise in delivering built estate FM services to Defence customers, including a long-standing Hard FM service for the Skynet 5 programme. VIVO leverages Serco's ExperienceLab to design service solutions that enhance the lived experience for Service personnel and their families.
