Vinum Copia is a boutique wine storage manufacturer founded on the back of over 20 years of wine passion, working in viticulture, wine making, wine import and wine retail. We design and manufacture wine storage for all spaces, both residential and commercial, including wine rooms, cellars and walls. Our wine storage solutions are truly bespoke in order to fit any space and maximise capacity whilst carefully considering our clients wine storage requirements.
Our process is end-to-end, ensuring it is smooth, thorough, and efficient from brief to installation. We dedicate time upfront to form a tight brief, acting as the key reference point throughout the project. This includes onsite consultations to create the perfect solution, ensuring alignment on timeline and budget.
Our design approach is classic and contemporary, with a strong respect for wine and how it should be treated. All bespoke installations are hand-built on site and personally overseen by Tom, our master carpenter and co-founder.
An ultra-thin, feature wine wall created to sit in the gap between a client's study and staircase. The frame is made from solid oak with inset LED lighting, and the wine racking is made from clear acrylic. The staircase side features solid glass, while the study side has two glass doors.
Hertfordshire
A custom-made wine cellar inspired by a famous ski resort. It features an automatic opening door in the kitchen floor and bespoke fabricated racking. Notable features include suspended magnums, large format bottles mounted to the wall, space for full size cases, presentation bottles, and single bottles. The cellar is subtly lit with warm LED lighting.
Aynho, Oxfordshire
A 1,230 bottle, solid oak wine cellar project that included light building works such as removing brickwork, taking down and raising the old cellar ceiling, and re-routing radiator pipes. The stone walls and floor were repointed and cleaned. The electrics were re-wired with new spots and a feature pendant light. The cellar has capacity for full or half cases and individual magnum racking, with working tops for large feature bottles.
A bespoke, hardwood walnut wine room with a natural finish and temperature control system. Designed for a balanced wine collection, it includes cubes for everyday drinking wines, racking and display bottles for better wines, and sliding drawers for long-term ageing of wooden cases. Dimmable LED lighting highlights cases and labels. The doors are solid wood, colour-matched to external doors, with extensive double-glazed glass and pistons for an air seal.
