Vida Healthcare

Vida Healthcare was established to transform the care available to people living with dementia, challenging perceptions and practices with a focus on bespoke environments and alternative therapies to improve wellbeing and quality of life. Our first home, Vida Hall, was developed after more than three years of research, working with leading consultants to create an innovative, state-of-the-art facility with pioneering dementia care plans and staff training programmes. Vida Hall achieved an 'Outstanding' rating from the Care Quality Commission in 2015, the first care home in the northern region to do so under new inspection criteria.

Following the same design principles and philosophy of care, Vida Grange opened in December 2016 and also achieved an 'Outstanding' rating in 2018. Our third specialist dementia care home, Vida Court, opened in December 2021 and received an 'Outstanding' rating in June 2023. All three homes are now rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.

We offer residential dementia care, nursing dementia care, young onset dementia care, complex dementia care, and respite services. All residents have a formal dementia diagnosis, and we can support individuals with Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, or dementia with Lewy bodies. We also provide care for younger persons living with dementia and those with more advanced stages of the condition.

Our homes are divided into smaller specialist houses to cater to a range of care needs.
