Unlimited Access aims to be a one-stop complete service provider for all your industrial access needs. Specialising in Rope Access, Confined Space Entry & Rescue provision, and Fall Protection Install & Testing, we believe we offer a service second to none. Partly due to our experience in volunteer cave rescue teams, we are genuinely dedicated to maintaining a safe work place and our workforce maintain a positive safety culture.
We are continually aiming to reduce our impact on the environment and to provide quality of service at all times. Based in Cardiff & Monmouth (South Wales), we work all over the UK & worldwide (onshore & offshore) & are able to tackle most types of contract. We provide professional access solutions to many sectors including Industrial (Power Stations, Steel Works, waste disposal/recycling plants, furnaces etc), Commercial (TV & film industries, office blocks, residential apartments etc), Rail/Road Infrastructure (bridges, portals, embankments, cuttings etc), Wind Turbines, and Offshore.
Safety is our number 1 priority. All our work starts with a site visit to find the best solution, is individually risk assessed with a comprehensive Method Statement, carried out following all relevant standards and our own additional procedures, and completed to the highest of standards.

Confined Space diving
Scottish Loch
Unblocking & repairing a 2 kilometre long flood-overflow tunnel from a Scottish Loch. Some of the passages were walking-sized, some were body-sized partially-flooded culverts and some were smaller-than-body-sized totally submerged culverts that needed digging out before the divers could progress.
Confined Space tunnel stabilisation
Surveying, photographing, stabilising (meshing & pinning) the six entrance shafts (some of them were more than 20 metres deep), re-pointing culverts, repairing long stretches of stone & brickwork that had been washed out by repeated flood pulses, and constantly dragging spoil back to the surface.
Safety Mountaineer
Iraqi Kurdistan
Provided the Project Manager/Team Leader & a Safety Mountaineer for the first rotation of Seismic Safety Mountaineers in Iraqi Kurdistan. Tasked with recruitment, training, equipment sourcing, and managing of the set-up phase & subsequently the in-country organisation.

Conducting repairs to the Meridian Tower, the tallest building in Wales. These have taken the form of glazing replacement, balcony fixings, securing of cladding, EPDM roof patching, and so forth.

Installation of a suspended BMU monorail to allow access to a Green Wall within an office block.
CONCRETE INSPECTION & REPAIR
An eight month contract on a 60m high tower which included initial survey, repairs as per product manufacturer's guidelines, post-repair survey, full mastic replacement, and crack monitoring.
BMU - Rail & Cradle Refurb
The Meridian Tower Cradle had been out of commission so we spent a summer doing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of the welds, replacing & torquing all bolts & fixings, refurbishment of the cradle, and creating a rescue plan for future users.

Scaling loose rocks on a cliff face prior to drilling & installation of drape nets.
