Established in 1975, Tomlinson Longstaff Ltd are NICEIC registered electrical contractors based in County Durham. With a team of 26 staff, we serve commercial and industrial clients across the North East of England, offering a comprehensive range of electrical services from design and installation to maintenance and testing. We are passionate about implementing renewable technologies and providing bespoke electrical solutions.
Our commitment to quality and safety is demonstrated by our accreditations with NICEIC and CHAS. We invest heavily in staff training to ensure our electricians are skilled and up-to-date with the latest qualifications. We were proud winners of the 'North East's Small Scale Project (<£250k) of the Year' at the North East 2024 Regional Energy Efficiency Awards and received a highly commended for 'Solar PV Installer of the Year'.
Founded by Doug Tomlinson and Dave Longstaff, we have been serving the region for over five decades. Although electrical requirements have changed drastically, we pride ourselves on continuously putting our clients' evolving needs at the heart of our business. Anthony Kirkup took over running the business in 1995, and is now joined by Directors Angela Kirkup and Alicia Reid, who manages the day-to-day operations.
