West Oxfordshire
TOGE CONSTRUCTION Concrete Cutting carried out the successful demolition of the Burford Bridge, which spanned the A40 in West Oxfordshire. The bridge was a post-tensioned structure supported on two end columns with stairs on either side connecting to the main span.
Westminster
The demolition of six 4-6 storey traditional load-bearing brick walls and timber structures, including ancillary outbuildings, for the redevelopment of Bridge Estate (phase 1) into 1,850 new affordable homes. It was the largest and most significant regeneration project in Westminster to date. TOGE CONSTRUCTION was employed as Principal Contractor to plan, manage and coordinate the construction phase from the pre-commencement through to handover.
The Crossrail project was split into separate locations, Moorfields, Moorgate and Bloomfield Street, each site being immediately adjacent to the live LU assets, which required protection throughout our works. Undertaken directly for Crossrail, we were the Principal Contractor, responsible for constant liaison with London Underground, Network Rail & the City of London.

Hyde Park Corner
This Great Cumberland Place, is a period-fronted building situated on the north side of Hyde Park Corner opposite Marble Arch, next to Marble Arch underground station and looking down towards Park Lane and Hyde Park. The structure required substantial façade retention, whilst demolition and enabling works took place. A complex façade retention scheme to the South and East of the building was required, which included gravelling foundations, followed by the demolition of the eight storey structure.
