Timber Workshop brings together carpenters and architects with a passion for design and making, born out of a pursuit for professional fulfilment. They enjoy working between these professions, developing an open way of working that allows them to realise ambitious, design-led projects in a collaborative manner. The company can be engaged directly or via a main contractor, as a specialist subcontractor or design consultants.

They design and build, design, and just build, fabricating and installing structural frames, and can fabricate cladding, furniture and kitchens. With skills and experience in both design and build, they provide early-stage consultation, advising on construction approach, timber selection and jointing, budget and programme. They work with 3D software packages, combined with 1:1 workshop prototyping, producing in-house fabrication drawings based on in-house surveys.

Timber is at the core of their work, and they believe in it as a modern building material, matching specification to budget with sensitivity to its use and location. They take pride in their craft, using traditional and modern carpentry techniques, and strongly believe in the benefits of workshop fabrication for enhanced build quality, programme assurance and safety.
