About from company website
The Traditional Carpenters specialises in the design, construction, and erection of hand-crafted, bespoke timber oak frames, catering to both traditional and contemporary styles. Founded in 2014 by Tom Kinsella, the company evolved from a passion for hands-on craftsmanship, moving away from graphic design to pursue a career in timber framing after extensive training and experience with established firms. The company prides itself on its "hands-on" approach, meticulously designing and building frames using traditional techniques like mortice and tenon joints, while also incorporating modern engineering for complex structural designs.
They carefully select and grade timber, ensuring quality and sustainability, and are active members of the Carpenters Fellowship. Services include complete oak-framed houses, conservatories, extensions, carports, garages, and specialist repairs for heritage buildings. They are known for their flexible, skilled workforce capable of scaling to project size, competitive pricing, excellent customer care, and high-quality craftsmanship, undertaking work across the UK.
They welcome challenging and interesting structural builds.
