Curtilage Listed Stable Conversion

Design brief to provide bespoke garaging for three vehicles within an existing curtilage listed stable block. A contemporary glazed extension was proposed to the front elevation to overcome insufficient depth, requiring planning permission and listed building consent. The proposal involved adding a flat-roofed, extensively glazed extension, projecting 1.5 metres to create the necessary space while retaining the aesthetic of the stable range.
