The Thames Valley Construction Training Association (TVCTA) is a support network for construction employers in the Thames Valley area, offering high-quality, low-cost training and advice on apprentice and training matters. Run by builders for builders, TVCTA assists CITB-registered companies with interviewing, selecting, and training apprentices, ensuring all available grants are claimed. They provide an annual training program and offer safety training at significantly reduced costs, often no more than the available grant.
TVCTA also facilitates liaison with colleges, CITB, trainers, and association members, answering queries on health & safety, NVQs, CSCS, on-site assessment, First Aid, and Plant Training. Their aim is to provide peace of mind by ensuring staff receive appropriate training, thereby eliminating risks of accidents and fines.
