We completed a full Combed Wheat re-thatch. On this project we carried out extensive timber repairs such as, removal of all rotten timber and replacing with new wall plate and replacement rafters before thatching commenced. Dating back to 1709, the property was given a new lease of life and returned to its former glory.
Avebury
In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Avebury, we had the pleasure of carrying out another full Combed Wheat re-thatch on this beautiful 17th Century Cottage. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to work on such historic buildings in such historic locations.
