Sussex Floor Restoration was founded in 2019 by Adam Bateup and Ross Flynn, with a purpose to inspire people to restore rather than replace wood flooring, preserving history and delivering long-lasting results. They aim to reduce waste in the flooring industry and preserve the flooring in period properties. The company prides itself on attention to detail and customer satisfaction, carrying out surveys and test patches to achieve predictable outcomes.
They offer a range of services including dustless sanding, board replacement, staining, oiling, and lacquering for both domestic and commercial clients. They are Parkett Profi accredited floor technicians, attending regular product and training updates in the UK and Germany. Their core values include client care, craftsmanship, continuous training, and strong support from machine and product manufacturers.
They are committed to going above and beyond for their clients, ensuring clear communication and providing free aftercare tips. Their service mission statement focuses on reducing waste, preserving history in period properties, and becoming the go-to floor restoration experts in the southeast. Sussex Floor Restoration works with a variety of clients including schools, sports facilities, hotels, and domestic homeowners.
