Melbury Vale Winery at the base of Foots Hill was one such project, which was a new build that had to include a number of criteria: It must be suitable to process grapes from the vineyard into wine, to bottle the finished wine from the vats, to store the finished product in a secure and suitable environment, be accessible to the public, be built to conform with the Planning conditions imposed, and to be environmentally friendly and blend into its surroundings.
To meet the principle points above and many other criteria this made the practical design and building of the Winery a quite unique project.

This country house property conversion is the former residence of Lord Wingfield Digby. We worked on various aspects of the building extending in all directions and totally altering the inside layout for the new occupants. The upgrade took fourteen months from start to finish.
The aim of the project was to add a first floor with various extra rooms to an existing bungalow. The work undertaken was quite extensive, involving removing the entire roof and replacing it with a new roof comprising of pre-formed attic trusses to form a completely new roof with seven dormer windows. A new first floor was formed with additional bedrooms and bathrooms with a staircase from below.
