About from company website
Sports Ground Specialists are experts in the maintenance and construction of professional sports surfaces and artificial turf throughout Ireland. They offer a comprehensive range of services for various facilities, with a particular focus on athletics track maintenance, synthetic hockey pitch maintenance, synthetic football pitch maintenance, and synthetic tennis court maintenance. Recognizing that outdoor sporting surfaces require constant upkeep to ensure a uniform and safe playing condition, Sports Ground Specialists utilize specialized machinery, such as the Horger KBR machine, to clean and restore surfaces.
This process involves high-pressure water systems to break down contamination and a vacuum system to remove sludge, resulting in improved grip and drainage. Their services extend to the construction and installation of polymeric track surfaces, as well as rejuvenation of tennis and hockey surfaces by removing contaminated infill, cleaning fibres, and replacing infill to restore playability. They also offer painting and lining services for Bitmac surfaces, using durable paints to create multi-sport courts.
The company emphasizes a proactive approach to maintenance, assessing surfaces to determine the best course of action and delivering results within approximately 3-5 days, leaving clients with cleaner, safer, and more playable pitches and tracks.
