The Project was to design a new bar at the end of the mezzanine floor at Waterloo, including removal of the existing bar -The Cabin Bar. The Cabin bar was previously an open Bar with bar stools surrounding it. The major fault with this design was its exposure to the station environment which resulted in the customers being cold in the winter, and overly hot in the summer which affected their venue.
This project separated two buildings into distinct demises by successfully removing connecting bridges. Key disciplines included precast concrete installations, mechanical & electrical work, demolition, scaffolding, and fire alarm & sprinkler systems, ensuring a safe and efficient transformation.
