SNG is one of England's largest housing associations, with a purpose to provide good, affordable homes that serve as the foundation for a better life. Their vision is to help create thriving communities over generations. Over the next five years, SNG aims to deliver a significant improvement in customer experience, focusing on raising the standard of homes through their Homes and Place Standard, implementing proactive maintenance using data and technology, and creating an end-to-end digitalised customer experience.

With a history stretching back to the 1970s, SNG has roots in Brent, London, and Newbury, Berkshire. The organisation provides 86,000 homes and invests in communities across London, the South East, South West, and East of England, with plans to create thousands of new affordable homes annually. While their registered office is in Basingstoke, Hampshire, they also have a headquarters in Wembley, London, and a network of regional offices to deliver quality local services.

As a charitable organisation, SNG reinvests any profits into building more high-quality homes and enhancing services for customers and local communities. They are also establishing the SNG Community Foundation to expand their support offers and access new funding streams. SNG is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
