Construction of a brand-new 11,200m2 purpose-built, efficient manufacturing factory, storage warehouse and office accommodation for the UK's leading raw pet food manufacturer. The project included a steel frame, metal composite cladding, aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, loading bays, dock levellers, cold storage rooms, a production area with resin and tiled industrial food-grade floor coverings, refrigeration plant rooms, electrical and mechanical plant rooms, a two-storey office with glazed partitions, an extensive concrete yard area, a dirty water treatment plant, pumping stations, concrete retaining walls, car parking, perimeter security fencing with automated barriers, and a sustainable drainage design.

The project involved the demolition of the rear section of the existing building while retaining the front façade, followed by the construction of a three-story frame using structural insulated panels (SIPs). Cladding included Cedral Click, Wienerberger Colormat Classic, and Zinc Flatlock panels, with brickwork complementing the existing building. The extension features an atrium lightwell, over 25 consulting rooms, several meeting rooms and offices, staff facilities, three stairwells, two lifts, accessible toilets on each storey, and an in-house dispensary.
