About from company website
Rural Stoves is a friendly family-run business situated in Melbourne, Derbyshire, covering Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham and the entirety of the East Midlands. We offer an expert service specialising in the installation of solid fuel appliances, chimney lining and associated chimney works. We can supply a wide variety of reputable wood burning or multi fuel stoves, and only use the very best quality materials for the chimney lining process, sourced from renowned and recognised manufacturers.
The proprietor of Rural Stoves has been in the building trade for over 15 years and has extensive knowledge of many types of buildings that can house a wood burning or multi-fuel stove. Many burner installers literally will only install and certify your appliance but at Rural Stoves, we can design and build your perfect fireplace. This may involve stripping the chimney breast back to its original brickwork and then pointing and polishing the stonework.
It may also be that you want to enlarge an existing surround to create a feature fireplace out of something that is only purpose built. Whatever your needs, we can discuss all options available. We always give expert advice on the best installation for your property as well as exactly what needs to be done in order to create your perfect fireplace.
Whether it involves modifications to the existing hearth or surround or just fitting the correct stove to replace an older or under-performing appliance you can be sure that the correct method of installation will always be taken.
