Royale Decorators is a family-based business with a rich history spanning three generations, originally started in the early 80s by Roy Cox. Initially operating without a van and travelling by bike, the business grew significantly, working closely with Reading Borough Council and Berkshire County Council on various public buildings. After Roy's retirement, his son Stephen took over and, despite relocating to Denmark, continued to expand the business, even becoming a preferred contractor for a Dutch building company on UK sports centres.

In 2004, Stephen returned to the UK, and after a 20-year hiatus, the Royale Decorators name was revived by Roy's grandson, Chris. Chris, an experienced decorator himself, has relaunched the brand, aiming to build on the legacy of quality and professionalism. The company now specialises in painting and decorating both commercial and residential properties, offering a bespoke local service with a commitment to quality.
