Ross McKenzie Ltd was established in 2006 by Ross and Karen McKenzie, building on Ross's experience in the plumbing and heating industry since 1995. From our base in Fordyce, near Portsoy, we provide the highest-quality, most energy-efficient heating and hot-water solutions to homeowners and trade clients throughout the North-East of Scotland. We are a hands-on, family-run business where the people who design your system are the people who install and maintain it.

We never sub-contract, ensuring quality and accountability remain with us from the first survey to the annual service. We are specialists in renewables and efficiency, MCS-certified for renewables, and a Daikin regional service & warranty partner. This allows us to design and install everything from high-efficiency boilers to full air source heat pumps, solar thermal, underfloor heating, and MVHR systems, providing the MCS-certified design and quote needed to claim grant funding.

Most of our work comes from recommendations and repeat customers across Portsoy, Banff, Buckie, Cullen, Keith, and surrounding villages. We pride ourselves on reliability, treating homes with respect, and leaving sites spotless.
