About from company website

RECC is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and is also a TrustMark Scheme Operator. The Code covers all factors contributing to high consumer service standards, from initial sales and marketing through to installation, after-sales service, and dispute resolution. RECC members work with a range of renewable technologies including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, solar water heating systems, ground and air source heat pumps, and boilers fuelled by wood chips or pellets, as well as associated 'add-ons' like battery storage systems.

The organisation's dedicated team works to promote and enforce the Code robustly and even-handedly, drawing on expertise in economics, law, trading standards, dispute resolution, customer service, renewable technologies, and environmental management. RECC aims to promote the resilience and reputation of the renewable energy sector by ensuring the highest standards of protection for consumers.
