Solar power generation at Hildesheim site

Over 80,000 kilowatt hours of solar power per year will be generated at the Hildesheim site in the future. The photovoltaic system has been significantly expanded, adding 80.08 kWp of additional capacity. The system now comprises 176 modules and reaches a total output of around 96 kWp.

With the expansion of its own photovoltaic system, ProLicht will generate over 80,000 kWh of solar power per year at the Hildesheim site in the future. This is as much electricity as around 20 households in Germany with four people consume in a year.

Since July 2025, he has been strengthening our team, initially as an intern and since August as a trainee for IT specialist for system integration. His path to ProLicht is special: he originally studied in Ukraine before coming to Germany and studying Computer Science at the University of Hildesheim for a year. Today he is an integral part of our IT team.

Summer party for the team

On June 19th, our terrace became a meeting point for the #teamprolicht: With the best summer weather and a really great atmosphere, we celebrated our summer party together. With an Italian buffet, music, and small games, everything was there that makes a successful evening. Above all, there was plenty of time for conversations and a few relaxed hours away from everyday work.

CO₂ laser cutter for processing thick materials

In our plant in Poland, a RED SPOT RST-PLT CO₂ laser cutter is used, which was specially developed for processing thick materials. It enables fast directional changes and high speeds, even with large-format workpieces. At the same time, even fine details remain clean and precise. Materials such as PMMA (acrylic glass) up to 40 mm thick can be cut in one pass.

With our deep drawing machines, we shape acrylic glass using heat and vacuum. An aluminum or wooden tool is always used as the base.

CNC milling machines for plastics, aluminum, and wood

Our machine park in the area of milling systems enables the processing of plastics, aluminum, or wood in a variety of ways. We process raw materials on up to 5 axes using CNC control. The 5-axis milling machines can be used, among other things, to produce our own shapes from wood and other special materials for the deep drawing machine. This means that in addition to using aluminum molds for series production, we can also offer an economical solution for smaller quantities.
