Design and build contract for the conversion of existing office space into a new flagship European Science Centre for cutting-edge scientific research. PNR undertook the design and delivery of all necessary external and internal building works including internal reconfiguration, mechanical and electrical, plumbing, redecoration and fit out including decommission, deconstruction and relocation of existing laboratory equipment.

End-of-lease dilapidation on a fixed timescale to a 9,772 sq.ft industrial unit of steel portal frame construction with ground floor and first floor office/ancillary accommodation. PNR repaired and reinstated all internal areas, roof and gutters, external areas and elevations including tarmacadam surface repairs, overhauling and repairing internal and external doors including the sectional overhead loading doors. We also repaired the landlord's electrical and mechanical installations whilst removing the tenant-installed CCTV system, intruder alarm system, electrical and data installations. We replaced the suspended ceiling tiles and undertook deep cleaning and general decoration of all areas throughout.

Complete refurbishment of the ground and first floor at the client's Head Office. We stripped out the existing kitchen and toilets and installed new facilities including a kitchen, lobby area, showers and toilets (male and female) using infrared ECO flush mechanisms and infrared taps. Associated works included ventilation and heating, ceramic and vinyl flooring and suspended ceilings, as well as all plumbing and redecoration throughout.

Principal designer and contractor on a scheme to convert a site previously occupied by a multi-story office and car park to a dedicated commercial vehicle facility. PNR undertook all design works, existing slab demolition, removal of waste, formation of new slabs for HGV parking (using a combination of machine-laid concrete and traditional poured concrete) and modular office building. We then installed new drainage, wash bay, pedestrian walkways, lighting and security systems and all section 278 works at site entrance.

PNR undertook all groundworks and civils including bulk earthworks, landscaping bunds, new site access road, car parking, drainage, pushwalls, slabs, mechanical and engineering works, modular office and site security development.

Sub-contracted to install a 220m-long and 5m-high retaining wall on a new distribution park within a short handover date. PNR undertook the excavation for retaining wall foundation and installation of Legato blocks and associated drain and backfill to rear of block wall.

Re-roofing works to all the flat asphalt roof areas with targeted rooflight replacements at a school. PNR overlayed all the flat asphalt roofs which had come to the end of their serviceable life with torch-applied roofing felts. Many original glass rooflights were replaced with new triple-skinned GRP rooflights whilst others were removed completely and covered over.

Full survey and various costed options for cladding an existing single-storey brick office/workshop. PNR were responsible for the design, evaluation and installation of an over-clad roof (using Joris ide 32/1000 cladding), new rooflights and 100mm insulation. Joris Ide JL Wall 1000 panels were also used for the brick walls.

Modification and extension of an existing warehouse, incorporating the removal of the existing roof structures and replacement with a new insulated roof to meet acoustic specifications required by planning consent. The roofing works involved stripping the existing over-sheets and underlying "Galbestos" coated roof cladding, then installing new purlins, modifications to existing roof trusses and other appropriate roof strengthening works. A bespoke new joriside liner tray and composite panel roof was installed to comply with specific acoustic requirements set out in the planning permission.
