Newly formed in July 2019 by Darren Plenty, Plenty Construction Ltd is an Isle of Wight based Construction Company who carry out all types on construction works from minor small works through to new design and build projects. Company founder and Director Darren Plenty has been involved in the building industry for 32 years and has had the benefit of both sides from his initial Carpentry trade background to the estimating, surveying and project managing currently his main role today. Darren gained a wealth of skills and knowledge from working for a previous highly established building company Henry Ingram and Sons Ltd where he served as an apprentice from school.
Having served his apprenticeship both in the joinery shop and on sites, he then went on to remain on his tools for a further 20 years before retraining in the estimating and surveying side of the company. Darren qualified with ONC and HNC recognition including a Trant Construction Award in building studies. Plenty Construction Ltd was founded in 2019 with the sole aim to offer a competitive and highly professional service thought all aspects of building work.
Having gained the knowledge and vast contacts on the island over the years, the Plenty construction team has been carefully selected and offers a very high level of workmanship in all construction areas from Carpentry, joinery, brick and stonework, plastering, glazing, groundworks, structural steelworks, tiling, decoration, roofing, electrical and mechanical works. Having studied and analysed current construction projects on the island over a number of years we feel that there is certainly the need for a very approachable, friendly, professional service and Plenty Construction aim to achieve their goal to take the worry away from what can be a stressful undertaking. Our team is fully committed to making sure we offer the complete package and are always looking for ways to improve and train in the most up to date construction techniques.
Living on the Island, we are aware that a lot of our potential clients are mainland based and we take pride in the fact we can liaise and manage works on second homes whilst keeping our clients fully updated and briefed on works during the day to day running of a build. We do try and make sure that the sometimes tricky decisions are made to feel easy and will offer as much or as little input as required to make your project feel personal to you. Plenty construction is fully insured up to the value of £10 million pounds for all aspects of projects.
