Home Extension Project
Large home extension project requiring first and second fix electrics in a new extension (kitchen dining area, office, W/C, utility, garage and porch) and amendments/ additions in the old house (living room and hallway). Work included adding new internal and external plug sockets, removal of some existing sockets, new light fittings (including internal and external spotlights, wall lights and internal pendants), extraction solutions, electric towel rail, electric shower and a new fuse box. Dav worked well onsite along other contractors, happy to liaise directly with my project manager, builders, joiner, kitchen designer and kitchen fitter to ensure I had everything I needed. He was happy to follow electrical plans provided by my interior designer but also made recommendations and suggestions when appropriate. Due to my design choices (pocket doors), there were some challenges experienced. However, Dav worked closely with me and my joiner to find suitable solutions including a sensor automatic light. Dav has a good attention to detail and made sure that I was satisfied with his work at very step, making amendments when requested so that I was 100% happy. Throughout the project, Dav went the extra mile to ensure the project remained on schedule. He did everything he could from his perspective to make sure that any disruption was minimal including arranging temporary light fixtures for me and giving me lots of notice when he needed to disconnect the electrics as he understood the impact when I was working from home.
