Onward is a not-for-profit organisation regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing, established in April 2018. It brought together several housing associations, including Liverpool Housing Trust, Hyndburn Homes, Peak Valley Housing Association, and Ribble Valley Homes, with the aim of investing more in homes and neighbourhoods, improving services, and contributing to the regeneration of communities in the North West. In 2021, Contour Homes was amalgamated into Onward Homes, finalising the transition to a single group.
Our purpose is to enable customers to be their best by providing homes that people love in places they are proud of. We achieve this by building, managing, and maintaining homes for those unable to access housing on the open market, delivering services that make a real difference, and offering support to help customers overcome challenges. We also provide specialist housing, including sheltered and housing with care, to enable independent living, and collaborate with partners and government agencies to increase housing supply and support customers across the North West.
