Since 1995 Oakwrights have been building bespoke new oak frame structures and repairing Listed Buildings. Combining the skills of our widely experienced oak frame carpenters and in-house Civil Engineer, we offer a broad range of expertise in a small team. We specialise in the design, construction and restoration of timber framed buildings, undertaking complex new-build and conservation projects from planning through to completion.

With combined in-house professional and technical skills, we are able to provide cost-effective solutions avoiding the need for independent Architects and Engineers. We also provide services in support of a Main Contractor or Architect. We build bespoke new oak framed houses, extensions, orangeries, balconies and barns to traditional or modern designs, including in-fill panels and glazing.

For restoration, we undertake repairs to period oak framed buildings, dismantling and reassembly, barn conversions, and strengthening works. Our design and engineering services include bespoke 3D design of new oak frames, specialist cladding details, structural repair details, surveys and technical reports.
