Now First Ltd are Structural Engineers based in North London. Their goal is to build an environment that inspires people to do the best work of their lives, producing structural engineering designs that meet client constraints and make a difference. They provide services and advice for all scales of projects, from the creation of multi-million pound projects to single wall removals.

They offer structural engineering services for all building types, with projects ranging from small domestic to major projects of framed and multi-storey design. They regularly design projects of reinforced concrete and steel framed construction, masonry, timber, and glass construction. Design and drawing are carried out using CAD, providing drawings showing existing construction and proposed works, along with all structural calculations to comply with current Building Regulations.

Established by John Cox, the director, after extensive experience with respected firms, Now First has worked on a wide range of projects as structural engineers, designers, and project managers. This experience has led to a deep understanding of the UK construction industry, including contract law, legislative frameworks, and cost control, allowing them to offer advice beyond standard structural engineering, including building procurement, material selection, and forms of construction. They enjoy operating as part of a design team or alone as the client's agent.
