Norwegian Log has been supplying and installing log cabin homes for over 40 years, founded in 1984 as a family business. We provide high-specification, healthy Scandinavian homes built from enduring Norwegian spruce trees, offering generations warmth and comfort with exceptional energy efficiency. Our homes are designed to control the main causes of wood deterioration, ensuring high quality with minimal maintenance and a 25-year warranty is available.
We deliver bespoke log homes, from initial consultation to design, groundworks, installation, fit-out and finishing touches, all handled by our in-house team. We also work with schools, holiday parks, charities, and public bodies to supply commercial log buildings. Our log homes are designed to meet the stringent British Standard BS3632:2023 for permanent residences, surpassing the less rigorous EN1647 standard.
The slow-growing, strong, and highly insulating Norwegian spruce logs are sourced from our expert Norwegian forestry partner. Our homes feature superior thermal efficiency with added fully insulated cavity and internal log facing, exceeding recommended insulation thickness standards for roofs and floors. Premium timber doors and windows with high-specification low 'E' double or triple glazing ensure draft-free comfort and security.
