Founded in 1995, NorthCountry Homes was established with the vision of building low-cost homes to help people purchase their first home, escape the rental trap, or buy their forever family home at an affordable price. The company relocated from Lincoln to Barlborough near Chesterfield and changed hands in 2002. By 2005, it was building over 1,000 low-cost homes annually, but was later subject to a takeover.
Although the name disappeared by 2016, the original founders continued their work in affordable home ownership, refining their skills and dedication.
