Navantia UK is a new force in British industry, supporting the UK's defence, security and energy transition ambitions. We are part of Navantia, a global leader in naval technology with over 300 years of shipbuilding heritage. Established in 2022 and expanded through the acquisition of Harland & Wolff, we employ over 1,200 people across our yards in Appledore, Arnish, Belfast and Methil, with programme, engineering and corporate teams in Bristol and London.

Our workforce covers every discipline needed to deliver complex programmes for defence, energy and commercial customers, including platers, welders, pipefitters, electricians, outfitters, naval architects, design and digital engineers, planners, and commercial, procurement and programme teams. We invest in our people at every stage of their careers, from apprenticeships and trade training through to management and leadership development. Our facilities provide critical support to global oil and gas infrastructure today, while developing strategic manufacturing capacity for tomorrow's renewable solutions.

We are a leader in British shipbuilding, strengthening state-of-the-art sovereign defence capabilities. Our sites have some of the most extensive and best-equipped shipbuilding and repair facilities in Western Europe.
