Milne Carpentry is headed up by Managing Director, Joe Milne, who is an experienced and qualified carpenter and has been in this line of business since he left school. He completed his apprenticeship with his father and achieved NVQs in carpentry and joinery. At 19 he started running sites for his father and at 22 they went into partnership and formed JJ Milne Carpentry.
In 2008 after his father retired Joe formed Milne Carpentry Ltd on the back of the Milne name that had built up a strong reputation for carpentry projects for over 40 years. Over the years Milne has worked with many companies including Willmott Dixon, Ameys, Baker Construction, Trinity Homes, Tasker Catchpole, Mid Sussex Homes and Cross Construction as well as working on smaller domestic projects. At Milne Carpentry we believe in achieving high standards and quality of all our works.
The company carries out all aspects of new build domestic and commercial carpentry from timber framing, joisting, cut and pitch/truss roofs to 1st and 2nd fixing with a vast knowledge in kitchen fitting and other joinery services. They also offer services in extensions, loft conversions, oak work, and timber frame & roof construction.
