Mersey Engineering Construction (MEC) is a multi-disciplinary contractor established in 2014, emerging from its predecessor sole tradership which had traded since 1994. Our vision is to exceed expectations and become a specialist contractor with a strong reputation built on delivery and excellence. Our management team possesses extensive experience in delivering complex construction projects globally. Several team members have served in the Royal Engineers Reserve, bringing over 100 years of combined service and experience from challenging operations worldwide. This unique blend of civilian and military construction and engineering knowledge allows us to deliver a wide range of quality projects with innovative solutions.

We provide specialist construction services including marine civils, electrical civils, heavy engineering, system type bridges, general construction, structural alterations, façade retention and propping, temporary works, and industrial maintenance and repairs. To support our operations, we engage a group of professional advisers covering health, safety, environmental, quality, insurance, structural engineering, quantity surveying, legal, and training.
