The existing column-hung lanterns within Lime walk had reached end of life. MDE Power supplied and installed new energy-efficient LED retrofit solutions to ensure the architectural lanterns can shine for many years to come.
Completed in 2003, the existing recessed fluorescent lighting within Southend Travel centre was failing and required a cost-effective solution for replacement and energy saving. MDE Power designed and installed a full LED retrofit of the recessed lights and also the uplighters in the high-level ceiling.
MDE Power supplied and installed a full panel board replacement, complete with UKPN liaison and scheduled shutdowns of the main intake supply to enable the replacement of the original 1960s panel board. During the 2020 Covid pandemic, they took on the project to remove the old panel and relocate all services to a bespoke panel board that was delivered and assembled on site.
