This was a large-scale project involving the removal of A.I.B (asbestos insulation board) to risers running through 17 floors in 6No. flat throughout 3No. Blocks. A.I.B removal was also carried out to ceilings within Communal Areas. Asbestos containing floor tiles were also removed prior to demolition of the blocks.
Blackburn
Completed an asbestos survey at St Silas Parish Centre which was being converted to a Nightsafe Centre for the homeless. The survey highlighted asbestos items on the premises, which were then removed. The asbestos containing materials, which included asbestos insulation board, asbestos containing textured coating and asbestos containing floor tiles, were removed for free.
