Established in 2015, MacGeo is a UK-based independent provider offering the full range of specialist geotechnical and geo-environmental drilling services, including the most advanced and industry leading 150Hz Sonic drilling techniques. They work on behalf of main contractors and consultancies within the ground investigation, oil and gas, mining and civil engineering industries. MacGeo is an 'Award Winning' UK drilling subcontractor that has the ability 'in-house' to deliver a full-scale ground investigation of considerable size on behalf of clients, both on land and overwater.
They can deliver complex onshore and nearshore ground site investigations to a high standard, underpinned by a management system controlling technical, commercial, shipping and logistics. Their experienced team consists of around 20 personnel working both in the UK and Overseas. The office in the Northwest of the UK serves as a workshop and hub for all UK activities.
They are corporate members of the British Drilling Association, and all lead drillers are BDA audited. They are also corporate members of IJUBOA (International Jack Up Barge Operators Association).
