Lee Construction Ltd

Lee Construction was formed in 1984 by Lee Higgins, initially as a Carpenter working on individual housing developments in London before diversifying into contracting. The company was incorporated in 1999 and became known as Lee Construction Ltd. In 2017, Leon Acquisitions was created to handle small works, buy-to-let properties, and refurbishments.

Lee Construction Ltd currently employs a workforce of 95, comprising 78 male and 3 female Carpenters, and 14 apprentices. The company actively invests in the future of the trade by offering apprenticeships in partnership with East Kent College. Young people are employed on an apprentice status, working towards their NVQ Level 2 in Site Carpentry.

They attend college one day a week and work on-site for four days. Lee Construction provides a comprehensive support system for its apprentices, including an appointed Health & Safety Manager, an Apprenticeship Coordinator, and dedicated site supervisors. Lee Construction has a strong track record of working with major property and education providers across the South East. Their sites are located in areas such as Headcorn, Ashford, Rochester, and Ebbsfleet, with upcoming projects in Faversham, Kings Hill, Maidstone, and Canterbury.
